I am a journalism student on the print/digital track at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in 2028. I'm pursuing an additional major in English creative writing, a minor in technical communication, and a certificate in editing and publishing.

Throughout my life, I have always loved to read, learn, and tell people's stories. My goal is to read between the lines of my surroundings and give a voice to the unheard and unseen, which is what pushed me to begin pursuing journalism. In my future, I hope to continue building my foundation in writing and editing through my involvement in the industry.

After being accepted into the print/digital journalism track in October 2025, I had the opportunity to intern at the Sanford Herald for the Spring '26 term, covering the city of Casselberry. Throughout my time there, I have had eight articles published, written across multiple cities in Seminole County and on a variety of topics.

I applied and was accepted into Her Campus at UCF in August 2025 as a Staff Writer, where I wrote two or more articles a month. Soon after, I applied to be a Staff Editor for the Spring '26 term, where I edited 3-8 articles a week. Following that, I applied and was selected as a Chapter Editor for the 2026-2027 term, covering the Wellness & Lifestyle beat.
